Step 3 Film Planning

So after having the feedback for Step 2 we made a start on Step 3. We had to make sure we improved on various things, we had to make real decisions on everything to make sure our story was clear and ran smoothly, make the movie piece together as a whole. What effect the narrative hook would have on our audience.

Feedback welcome!

So already you can see that Step 3 is already a lot more detailed than Step 1 and 2. After planning out our third lot of ideas we had our third meeting with our teacher to update him on our improvments. After recieveing our feedback we was told it was already looking better and that the storyline was becoming more clear. We made a start on how to improve our work for Step 4.

The improvements we made were;
-actual decision on everything (storyline, gaps that need to be filled)
-piece together the movie as a whole
-online questionnaire to interact with everyone else so they could give us their opinion on what weapon our killer could use
-narrative hook is effective

After hearing more poisitve feedback and now only a few questions on our idea, we went away to make a start on Step 4 where we would finalise our idea and make our story have a more detailed explination.

We decided that in order to help us think of what to call our film and to pull a few last minute ideas out of the film and into our opening scene we would look at different films. The films I decided to look at were;
-Amusement
-Scream
-Halloween
-I Know What You Did Last Summer
