Step 1 Film Planning

So, we decided to go with Dean's idea, we worked on a better storyline and we think it will eventually turn into a really good opening sequence.

This is our Step 1 to our planning.. Feedback welcome!


So after our meeting with our teacher, we told him what we planned to do and we recieved some positive and helpful feedback. We had a lot to improve on including making our story piece together more. So after hearing all of the areas we needed to improve in, we went away and discussed what we could do to make it better in order to move onto a more detailed Step 2.

The improvments we made were;

-becoming more clear on the storyline

-deciding on our narrative hook

-discussing how we could make our story more clear and piece together for the benefit of our audience understanding

-discussing the different shot types we need to use

-what are victim would look like

-come up with various 'possible ideas'

Afteer putting all our new ideas and improvments together we came up with Step 2 which had more complex ideas and more planning into our ideas and a lot more thought.

We had 3 possible ideas which we added onto our Step 2. We also added in where and what our beginning shot would be and decided on a more precise time to do our filming.

We also decided to do extra research on horror films as that is our chosen genre.
